Games can work as learning or review tools. The problem with most games is that they were designed to be fun and interesting first, rather than to actually effectively teach you a lot of the material you want to learn in a short amount of time.

Do you feel the same way about games used to review the material or is it only the use of a game to actually teach material that you believe is ineffective?
